Rhinebeck Bound!

8 Comments Hey everyone, just a quick post to say I'm off to Rhinebeck for the weekend, and I'm stoked! Even though it's only a few days, it's the first vacation I've taken from work since starting in February, and I definitely need a break. I think a few days in chilly NY surrounded by wool and awesome people (including my Mom, who's going with me!) will do me a lot of good. So the bag is all packed, and in just a few hours (yup, I'm up very late...) I'll be on my way.

Unfortunately, I haven't finished my Rhinebeck sweater yet, but I do have my Hello World sweater to wear, so we'll call that good ;) Plus this sweater will be excellent plane knitting for the marathon (12 hours!) journey to NY. So if you're going to be at the festival this weekend, and you see me, don't be afraid to come say hi to me and my Mom; we're friendly!

Someone had better say hi for me! *sob* I wish you were coming down to NC for SAFF next weekend instead. But have fun at RB!
Have fun! And try to stay warm and dry. I have to admit, hearing about the possible snow makes me a teeeeeny bit less sad about missing it this year.
I'll look for you, Adam! I'll be there on Saturday and hope to say hi to you!!
Safe travels! I'll keep my eyes open, but that doesn't mean I'll have the nerve to say "hi!"
Have a great time!
I'm thinking this is the year for terrible festival weather ... at least for the east coast "biggies" (Maryland and Rhinebeck). Have a wonderful time. I'm quite jealous!
Congrats on the job (yeah I'm playing catch-up) and I'm so sorry I missed you at Rhinebeck! I didn't even know to look! We made it extra cold just for you :)
Can't wait to hear about Rhinebeck and all the goodies you purchased.
