Everyone's A Winner In My Book

Awww, what an inspirational post title. Ok so anyway, what I'm meaning to say is Congratulations to Lori, who ended the Guess the Project contest with the correct guess! I guess I didn't stump everyone after all. Darn. But some of you did come very close, and for that you get a smiley face from me :) (Kinda like a gold star, but lots better of course). Anyway, Lori has already picked the skein of Pink Panther that is currently sitting in a tangled ball on my dining room table.

Yeah, long story, but Scout? I know you're totally busy dyeing 35 skeins for the sock club, and that you have like 30 million orders of that Socktoberfest Yarn, but if you feel compelled to write up those directions for winding that warping board of yours...well I'd volunteer to be your slave helper for dyeing the next month's worth of sock club yarn. Cause I totally didn't wind the Pink Panther right, and it definitely didn't go back on the board right, so it became a giant tangled mess. It's almost done being wound into a nice little ball, since everytime I walk by it, I weave the ball through the tangled parts just a little bit more. I'm hoping to be done with it sometime before I die, but there is a lot of it. Hopefully Lori is blessed with patience as much as luck...did you know that this is her 3rd consecutive win on a sock yarn contest?

Anyway, that's about it, look for 2 more skeins in the shop soon, and a post about my sock history to kick off my Socktoberfest Knitting!

P.S. I'll leave Lori's winning guess up in the comments for a bit so you can see how insane I really am. But here on out, this craziness will now be referred to as The Project That Shall Not Be Named, so adjust your comments and concerns accordingly.

So wait. You would wind 35 skeins of yarn for me for the directions? No you would not! It's like 4 hours of work......
