Cause I’m certainly ready for it to get here! School has been kicking my butt this week, I’ve had major homework assignments due almost everyday, and I’m working on another big one that’s due tomorrow. I don’t mind too much, since I actually like all my classes this semester, but all this homework does cut into the knitting time…(who am I kidding? I’m in class for 2-3 hours everyday, I get plenty of knitting done!)
Sometimes I wish I could be a dog though…I mean, doesn’t this look like fun?

And after today, I almost got down on the floor with Dallas to help shred the toy. Remember the car accident I was in a few months ago? Well the lady finally got around to filing the claim, and I went to see the adjuster today, only to find out that she’s hired a lawyer and changed her statement…she now claims that the accident was my fault, even though she admitted guilt at the scene. So now that means that this stupid claim will be dragged out over the next few months, along with a special investigation to determine who was really at fault. Ugh. I thought this was already taken care of! Even the claims adjuster said that he thought it was a bit ridiculous that she had called in a lawyer for a small accident. Now that means that I have to get my insurance involved, in case she tries to make a claim against me, and most likely both our companies will end up battling it out over who has to pay what.
That’s about all that’s going on, and I have homework awaiting, so I should get back to it. Oh and it’s 10 PM, so that means it’s tea time at Chez Adam! I think I’ll have Ginger Peach tonight, that should make the homework a bit more pleasant. ;)
People think “Oh insurance will pay the claim so I’ll make up something and get some free money.” Yup like insurance companies give away free money. Sending bad karma her way for endless days of bad hair and ugly facial warts.

Sorry to hear about the insurance frustrations. Aw, look at how cute and innocent Dallas looks with that shredded toy…
I feel your pain - the SAME thing happened to me - this girl caused an accident, I was the fourth person involved…then she turned around and sued all of us. And get this - even though it went to arbitration through the insurance companies and they determined that myself and the girl in front of me had nothing to do with the accident, she sued us both ANYWAY. (Which I didn’t even think you could do - I thought arbitration decisions were binding.) My ticket also got thrown out and I was deemed at no fault….still, sued. And I hate to say it…..but I just got a letter a few weeks ago that the case was finally done and closed (I never had to actually do anything other than meet with the insurance company’s attorney once). The accident was in 2000.
Hopefully you won’t have to do much - even though it was a big long drawn-out BS situation, it wasn’t really anything other than an anecdote for me.

and yes, wireless communications IS a lot of math. That’s what I remember anyway (even though I work for a company now involved in that field, I don’t personally do much math re: it). :)
it would be nice to be a dog…especially a pampered dog ;). that sucks about that lady who hit you! i bet she already has some accidnets on her record and her insurance is super high & that’s why she’s doing this.

This country had way to many lawyers… I hope that dumb lady ends up having to pay you more because she was stupid enough to sue someone she drove into…
