And the internets break into resounding cheers, because Jack Bauer is back! That’s right, in less than 15 minutes, Day 6 of 24 premieres! I can hardly wait I’m so excited! I’ve been waiting for a 24 fix ever since that wretched cliffhanger back in May…it’s so unfair of Fox to leave us hanging for that long! I might not even get any knitting in, that’s how intense this premiere will be. Did I mention it’s 2 hours tonight and 2 hours tomorrow night?
I did manage to get some Saturday Sunday Sky pictures from the Petroglyphs National Monument today. I figure that such lovely pictures a day late are worth more than a crummy picture of a cloud and the tree in my front yard on time.
I’ve lived in Albuquerque all my life and I still get goosebumps when I see this view. The Sandias were in top form today, complete with snowy caps! And that brown house belongs to my parents, aren’t you jealous of their view? Happy Knitting and remember,
PUT YOUR WEAPON DOWN!

Beautiful views. It would be nice to even see the skies at all most days around here (Portland) this time of year.
Im not watching 24 this season. why? because Im dead.
I might have to stop reading if you start giving 24 spoilers, since I just got hooked and have only seen season 1 so far…..
I don’t know anything about 24… just that it’s got Kiefer Sutherland in it :)
Now why is there a wall right behind those houses? Doesn’t that ruin the view out of the houses??? It nearly looks like a prison enclosure…
The pic with the wide open spaces (gratuiteous Dixie Chicks reference :)) is gorgeous.
Cheers Eva
ooooh love the 24!!! i have been waiting for this day forever and can’t wait to see what this season brings…
Hi! just found your blog! beautiful sky pics. I have to say, I have never watched 24. I’ve heard good things about it though.
Um, yeah — woo hoooo — but I can’t knit during 24, ever. Messes with my tension. ;)
Did you celebrate Talk Like Jack Bauer Day today?

24 is precisely why I have a mindless stockinette project going at all times!
Holy cow. I don’t want to ruin things for anyone who may not be caught up…except to say that I did not see the last 5 minutes of the 4th hour coming. Yeesh. Now what?!
While watching the show, my husband likes to repeat the most inoccuous phrases as if he were Jack Bauer. He shouts things like “I WOULD LIKE SOME ORANGE JUICE!” Good times.
oh how i miss new mexico…i just made a “fiesta pie” with some of the green chiles i ordered from hatch. GOOOOOOOOD. http://www.flickr.com/photos/catduck/359692479/
Jeez, I wish I could say I was watching 24 but I am not. We only watched the first season on dvd and we barely ate, slept or ANYTHING else while we were watching the million hours of it.
We decided that 24 is not good for our health… ;)
Those sky pictures are just gorgeous… they are warming me all the way to my freezing New England tootsies.
