Well, errr, a sock I suppose. But nonetheless, it’s a sock, and an almost complete one at that (actually I just finished it and cast on for the 2nd one…cause otherwise I’d never do it…) I really am enjoying the whole toe-up thing, it’s nice to see the sock come along that way, and I used every last bit of yarn. This is the biggest sock I’ve ever done, but I’m really happy with it. It’s comfy, fun, and how can you not love a sock made with $3.99 clearance wool?
Oh, and Stephanie? Thanks for reminding me that the little black circle embedded in my laptop takes pictures. And not half bad ones compared to the crummy cameraphone. Although it is a bit difficult to take a nice picture with the laptop as you can’t see the screen too well when you point the camera away from you.
Alright, I’m an old man, and thus it’s my bedtime. And if I don’t post much this week…I’m not dead, I just have crazy amounts of homework and a big test coming up. So send happy test thoughts my way ok? And if you’re an expert on probability measure, set theory and the obfuscated mathematics that are Borel sets, I’ll pay you money to impart your wisdom to me. Really. (Or did I mention I can knit sweet socks?)

I love the stripes! Cool colors. I’m addicted to toe-up now as well. I can’t resist it! Must. Convert. All. Patterns. To. Toe. Up.
Happy thoughts! Good luck- I wish I could help you with your mathematical whatchamahoosits.
