It seems like no matter how much work I put into unpacking and organizing stuff every night, I never ever make a dent in the boxes sitting in the garage. I really wish I could explain why, but I think it has something to do with some mysterious quantum phenomenon…or it could just be that I’m so OCD that every thing has to be put away perfectly. Ok, so maybe that’s it.
So pretty much the problem is that since I actually live in a house now that I really like, not some ghetto poor student house in Socorro, I find myself wanting to keep things neat, clean and overall tidy. (Much to the chagrin of my brother and our other roommate, who think I’m some kind of neat freak because I vacuum every other night…that’s normal isn’t it?) But no matter how long it takes me, I will persist until all the boxes are gone and I can park my car in the garage.
In other news, not too much exciting is occuring on the knitting front…I’m pretty much just making hats, etc. But it’s keeping me busy and I’m enjoying cranking out some easy breezy stuff, it’s a nice break from intarsia, uber-precise felting, or whatever crazy knitting challenge I usually throw at myself.
And since no post is complete without pictures, I’ll give you some lovely pictures of what I made for dinner earlier this evening. It was really, really good, definitely one to try. It’s Fusilli pasta with Asparagus, Sugar Snap Peas, Avocado, Mint & Basil. It’s a great light summer dish, and isn’t too heavy, but if the ingredients are fresh, man is it good! I would definitely recommend getting the freshest veggies & herbs you can, from say B. Riley Fresh Herbs or any other store in your area that has some very good produce. If you want the recipe, leave a comment or e-mail me.

Adam’s OCD…?!?!?! OMG!
