Well, I signed up for Scout and Company’s Dye-O-Rama today, and I’m excited! It should be fun to learn to dye yarn, and use my creative skills to make something sweet for someone else! If you want to sign up, there’s still time left, just click on the button below and sign up!

And now, one of my favorite post styles, the itemized list: (I’ve learned to just embrace my OCD, with the help of Scout)
- School Stuff: The real reason I’m writing this post is because I’m procrastinating writing the history assignment that’s due at noon today. I have one 100/500 words, so if I actually sat down and worked on it, it’d take like 15 more minutes, but I have chronic senioritis these days. Oh well, only 2 more weeks to go!!!!!!!!!!
I sent out my Graduation Announcements yesterday, and I’m getting very excited that I’m actually graduating! Although I do fear that the day will come and I’m going to wake up and still be a Freshman. On Easter, my cousin took my official graduation picture, with Emma and I, and so I thought I’d post it here for your enjoyment.
- Blog Stuff: Thanks for the votes on my blog speed poll, I think I’ve offically decided that Yahoo is very very slow. (What can you expect for $9 / month?) So once I’m done with school and have some more time, I’m going to switch hosting services, and hopefully that will go smoothly and the blog will be quicker from then on.
- Knitting Stuff: I’m almost done with the very-long sock ordeal, and have finished the gusset decreases on my first sock. I’m thinking of switching knitting methods for the 2nd sock, because I’m so very slow at the whole DPN thing. I’ve gotten the hang of it and I’m not getting poked anymore, but it’s just slow going. I’m thinking of trying either magic loop or 2 circs, with some Addi Turbos. Any thoughts? How do you knit your socks? Then after I’m done with the socks I think I’m going to make myself a Topi, from the latest edition of Knitty. I really like these style of hats and it looks like a good pattern. Then, who knows what I’ll do? Depending on how the 2nd sock goes, I may attempt a fancier pair with some Koigu, but we’ll see ;)
Well, I should get that assignment done now, I suppose ;) Then it’s off to work, but there might be a stop at Village Wools along the way!

Try 2 socks on 2 circs–I LOVE it. Laurie (gator) is a great teacher, too.
Fabu picture!
I prefer Magig Loop for sock knitting. My second preference is 2 circs. I can do the dpns, but it takes me a LOT longer than ML does, which is why I prefer that method :)
