Man, it’s been so crazy this past week, I’ve barely had time to do anything, let alone blog! But I’m back with a vengeance baby! Basically, school has been kicking into high-gear, with only 5 weeks to go, there’s a lot to do and little time to do it! The massive list of things that are beginning to pile up include such lovely things as:
- planning my graduation party, sending commencement announcements, etc.
- studying for the GRE which I’ll take in late April
- studying for the FE, which I take in late April also
- tracking down reference letters and other materials for grad school application
- attempting to move all my stuff into storage in Abq, since I have to vacate my house by the end of April
- still trying to work around 20 hours a week in Abq, so I can pay the bills
- attending all the dog classes that I’ve signed Emma up for
- trying to finish my senior design project, which includes hacking together some control software and writing a 100 page paper
- keeping up in all my other classes, so that I can actually get decent grades and graduate, God willing
- preparing to start my new job in early May
So you can see, I’ve been keeping myself pretty busy these past few days. Not to mention the headaches with my car being in the body shop, for a “very long time” according to the guy I talked to. They may have to replace the entire driver’s door, ugh. But a friend of mine loaned me a spare car that she wasn’t using, so I’m very grateful to not have to pay for part of a rental car. You know who you are, and thanks a bunch!
Needless to say, I haven’t gotten too much knitting in otherwise, but I’m making slow and steady progress on my first sock. Although I think it’s going to be a little bit too big…I’m going to make the 2nd sock smaller, and if the first one is too big, I might frog it and remake it in a better size. Also, I finally got my little brother’s fuzzy feet felted last night, so he would stop pestering me :-P But that’s about it, so hopefully I’ll have some more progress to report sometime, but please forgive me if I totally slack off, or just die from exhaustion.
Well, I have to go to a homework session, then go to the bank, lunch, class, class, drive, dog class…well you get the picture.

You have a lot on your plate sweety!
WOw.
I take my dad’s advice (he was an engineer too, from Syracuse LOL) “How to eat an elephant? One bite at a time.”
Welcome to the knittyboards! Happy to meet you.
