So it’s been a few days, and I know I promised pictures, so here’s a mega post that’s full of ‘em. See you after the jump!
First up is my pair of fuzzy feet, which I finished and felted the other night. They fit very nice, but have already stretched a decent amount, so I’m thinking about putting some leather or something on the bottom to give them a bit more substance. I’m very pleased with the colors though, and they are very very warm. Now my whole family has lined up to ask for a pair, so I’ll be making these for a while! Here’s some pictures of me wearing the fuzzy feet on a chilly night, sitting by the fire. You’ll have to excuse my hairy legs, but I don’t exactly have too much control over that :-P

p align=”left”>Next up is a picture of my Mom’s newly finished Booga Bag, which she made with some very beautiful Noro Kureyon. This bag really came out nice, and I was glad to help with the felting and blocking, since I’m the home felting expert these days. Next to the booga bag is a picture of the scarf that my little brother cast-on and learned to knit with the other night. He’s doing pretty good, and at this rate he’ll be a better knitter than me in no time! Now we just have to get my Dad and middle brother to knit, despite their adamant refusals. It won’t be too long ;)

Then finally I thought I’d throw a picture in of my Mom’s puppy Cricket, since she’s so darn cute. The other morning it was pretty cold, so my Mom put a sweater on her, which she tried to remove for a while, but then she got nice and comfy in it. Her favorite thing to do is lay by the fire, when it’s blazing hot, and sleep, so she really loved the fact that the sweater kept her so toasty.

p align=”left”>Right now I’m working on a dog collar for Emma, which is inspired by the one that Noelle made for her dog Winter, seen here. I’m using some of the leftover Noro from my Mom’s bag, so it will be a very lovely striped color in blues and purples, which I think will look great on her. It’s her 1st birthday next Wednesday, so I figured I had to get some form of a present for her :) Also, I sewed the shoulder strap onto my Apple tote last night and I like it, although I’m toying with ripping it and redoing it in black, since all I had was red. But it is great for now, pictures to follow!

I love the booga bag. Most knitters can identify it just by glancing at it.
Your brother’s knitting looks great! you’re right..he IS going to be a pro soon.
First of all? Tell your mom she needs her own Blog! Help her set it up! It can be a gardening, knitting blog!
Tell her I’m very proud of the Booga!!
Your fuzzy feet are awesome! I love that I can tell you things to knit and then they just appear! Are you guys coming to see me today or tomorrow?
You have been a busy knitter! Everything looks great.
Next time you’re at Village have Scout show you the fibertrends suede (or is it suede-ish) soles. I haven’t used them but I’ve heard they help a lot. I bought a pair last week for the felted clogs I’m making for Cody.
Remember you can always dunk them and reshape them too! I love that you’re knitting a collar Emma! I’ve been meaning to post that pattern, though it’s pretty simple :)
I’ve never knit a Booga bag! I bought some Noro just for that but haven’t done it.
