So I got tagged to do a meme by Beverly yesterday, so now I’ll do some shameless question answering in true blogging style, so here it goes:

What were you doing 10 years ago? Let’s see, 10 years ago, I was 11 years old, and I was probably biding my time with school, and beginning to hack with Linux on my family’s computer, and probably reading way too many books. My Mom used to actually lock me outside on the back porch when I was a little kid because all I would do is read.

What were you doing 1 year ago? One year ago, I was beginning the spring semester of my junior year, and starting to slave my butt off in the hellish class that was Junior Design. Man that class really sucked.

What were you doing one hour ago? Just arriving at work, with my girl Emma, and getting a double macchiato from my brother’s girlfriend, who makes amazing coffee :)

List 5 creative things you want to achieve this year:

1. Learn to knit socks
2. Get some microcontrollers and program them to do home automation tasks
3. Start taking violin lessons again once I finish school and move to Abq full time
4. Get a house and do some sweet decorating
5. Cook really good food for friends at least once a month

List 5 snacks you enjoy:

1. Chocolate and Espresso
2. My homemade chocolate chip cookies
3. Chips and El Pinto salsa
4. Spicy Thai Kettle Chips
5. A banana spread with peanut butter and a glass of milk

List 5 things you would do if money were no object:

1. Build a house in the east mountains, but not too close to my parent’s house ;)
2. Buy a new VW Passat, with all the options
3. Go on a wine and espresso tour of Italy
4. Start a company that makes sweet knitted stuff for nerdy people
5. Pay off my parent’s house, in return for all their support through college and life in general

List 5 bad habits:

1. Biting my fingernails
2. Blogging or Internetting when I have other stuff to do
3. Speeding
4. Eating fast food because I’m too busy for not bad for me food
5. Biting the ends off of all of my pens

1. Knitting, of course!
2. Playing with Emma
3. Using my Mac/Listening to my iPod
4. Solving really hard math/engineering problems
5. Playing with robots and microcontrollers

2. My trusty old iBook (which I’ve taken apart, spilled stuff on and dropped; but it still keeps ticking)
